Seton College is a Catholic co-educational high school—part of the Holland Park and Mount Gravatt Catholic Parish and Brisbane Catholic Education (BCE)—and a place of personalised learning where every student is known by name, respected as an individual, and valued as part of the community.

Brisbane Catholic Education is guided by expert research and advice that says inclusive learning environments—where students with disability can access and participate in the curriculum alongside students without disability—are best for all students.

As a result, and with four times the national average proportion of students with disability at Seton, BCE made the difficult decision to transition the College to closure at the end of 2024. The timing was determined so that most of the attending students could complete their education at Seton. Those required to transition elsewhere are being offered support and concessions.

During the transition phase, we will continue provide learning aligned to the Australian curriculum and Queensland Curriculum and Assessment Authority (QCAA), enabling engagement and successful learning outcomes for all students.

Our goal is for all Seton students to experience positive outcomes in literacy and numeracy and the vocational education and experience they require to transition confidently from school into the workforce or further study.
