College Profile

Seton College is a contemporary Catholic, coeducational Secondary College purpose-built for personalised learning. Formed in God’s name by the Daughters of Charity of St. Elizabeth Seton in 1964, the College promotes the spiritual, intellectual, social and emotional development of students

What makes us different?

We are leaders in providing personally tailored, vocationally driven education that is developed by learning specialists with an early focus on literacy and numeracy.

From the very first moment of a student's journey at our College, we begin planning for positive outcomes… giving them what every student needs for success – literacy and numeracy – and the vocational education and experience they require to transition confidently from school into the workforce or further study.

A College of personalised learning with cohort numbers carefully managed, at Seton every student is known by name, respected as an individual, and valued as part of a tight-knit community.

There are three defining elements of a Seton College Education:

Literacy and Numeracy Focus across a vibrant and robust curriculum Years 7 – 10;

Pathways Planning (including QCE options if desired) and Vocational Education and Training Years 10 – 12;

Pastoral care, personal development and individual support for all students at a level distinctive from mainstream schooling.

Within the Australian Curriculum we offer:

  • state-of-the art Learning Enhancement programs
  • Positive Behaviour for Learning programs
  • a very high teacher to student ratio
  • a dedicated Pathways and Vocational and Educational Training Hub run by industry professionals that provides a huge range of work and training options
