What is "Pathways"?

There are many pathways to building the best outcome for your child at Seton College.

Pathways is the program in which we plan with our students the best possible outcome from their education at Seton College by incorporating Vocational Education and Training (VET) and work experience into their learning.

An individual Pathway is designed to provide each student with the qualifications and skills required for employment or further study when they finish school.

Lead by a dedicated Pathways Leader and Registered Training Organisation (RTO) Manager, Pathways delivers or provides access to more than 100 hundred Certificate qualifications, TAFE Queensland options, school-based apprenticeships or traineeships.

From Year 10, students also participate in work experience one day per week, acquiring the skills and competence essential to employability in the fields most suited to them.  When a student graduates from Seton College they will have acquired hundreds of hours in the workplace.
